Monday, September 30th was Orange Shirt Day. As a class we watched videos, and read books on the topic of Indigenous Peoples and residential schools. Our school had a museum set up in our cafeteria and we were able to visit it, and continue our discussions.

This week we've been working on the theme of gratitude. First, we brainstormed and made a list of all the things we are grateful for. Next, we started an art project using watercolour pencils and we are going to add a collage that includes a picture of each student, and the things they are grateful for. Finally, the students wrote paragraphs on this theme.

In Science this week, we continued to investigated the human body and looked at parts of the eye, nose and ear. Websites we've been using include:
